Assistant Instructor

The first step to becoming a BSAC instructor is to attend a two day Instructor Foundation course (IFC) where the essential elements of instruction are taught. After this you become an Assistant Instructor. you will need to be qualified as sports Diver or above.


Assistant Diving Instructors can:

Teach the Diver Training Programme uo to their own diver grade under supervision of an Open Water Instructor.
