Do you want to to experience the thrill of breathing under water or you are interested in becoming a scuba diver as a hobby? Why not arrange a Try-Dive for just £15!
You will experience the thrill of scuba diving in the safety of a swimming pool with an experienced trained instructor.
Once you have completed your try-dive you could go on to book a full learn to dive course and begin your diving adventure.
Try Dive sessions last around an hour. You’ll be greeted by one of our nationally qualified instructors, kitted out with a set of our training kit and shown the basics of its operation before slipping into the pool to take your first breaths underwater!
Once in the pool, we’ll get you finning around and neutrally buoyant so you can truly experience the freedom of movement and feeling of weightlessness that scuba diving gives you.
You should be in general good health.
Ideally you should be a competent swimmer and be reasonably confident in the water.
North Glos BSAC have a minimum age policy of 14 years old for a Try A Dive, but diver training is only open to those 16 or over.
All participants must fill in a try dive medical and liability disclaimer form, and for those under 18, signed by a parent or legal guardian, before the session begins.
